Educational Qualification: Must be a graduate with a
diploma/degree in Library Science from a recognized
University.

Experience (Optional) : Knowledge of Computer Applications in
a Library.

Phase 1: Registration

    or

  • Click on “Online Application for the post of Library Assistant in
    the Judicial Academy, Assam.”
  • Choose “New Registration” and provide required information.
  • Click “Submit Registration.” The system generates a Registration
    Code, displayed below the “Submit Registration” button. Note it
    down, as it’s essential for the upcoming phases.

This Registration Code and your Date of Birth will serve as login
details for Phases 2, 3, and 4.

 

Phase 2: Update Candidate Details

  • Click “Update Candidate Details.”
  • Fill in your profile information and candidature specifics.
  • Ensure no field is left blank.
  • Save the data by clicking the “Update Data” button.

 

Phase 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

  • Upload Photograph and Signature images in .jpg, .png, or .gif
    format.
  • Image size should be between 5 KB and 30 KB.
  • Photo must cover 80% of the space, while the signature should cover
    70%.
  • Click “Upload Photograph & Signature.”
  • Select the file, then click “Upload Passport Photo” and “Upload
    Signature.”
  • Upon successful uploading, tick the “Declaration” checkbox.
  • The “Submit Candidature” button will turn green, allowing
    submission.

 

Phase 4: Fee Payment and Acknowledgement

  • After submitting, click “Print Fee Payment Challan Form” to generate
    a Challan.
  • Pay the fee at any State Bank of India branch within two working
    days of online application submission.
  • Keep a copy of the Challan with bank official’s signature and seal.
  • Fee payment information will reflect automatically within two
    working days.
  • Print the Acknowledgement Receipt and Application Form after fee
    payment.

The selection process for this position involves two stages: Written Examination (Stage I) and Interview/Viva Voce (Stage II).

Stage I: Written Examination (120 Marks)

 

Stage II: Interview/Viva Voce (20 Marks)

 

Final Selection After Stage I & Stage II :

  • The final selection is based on the total marks obtained in both Stage I and Stage II.
  • In case multiple candidates have the same total marks, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in the written examination.
  • If the marks in the written examination are also the same, the candidate who is senior in age will be given preference.
